Craig Debates

So if you haven't picked up on this yet, I'm a pretty big fan of William Lane Craig. I've been reading Reasonable Faith over the Christmas break and I have enjoyed it thoroughly thus far. FYI, Craig has some debates with some prominent atheists (Richard Carrier, Quentin Smith, Christopher Hitchens) coming up. The Philosophy Foosball Club might need to take a field trip.

I'd have to agree with you, Craig is certainly a very important figure in Christian apologetics and philosophy today. He writes very clearly and takes nothing for granted, very careful reasoning and a desire to represent his opponents' views fairly. (Although I must admit that some of his more technical writings are a little over my head.) Too bad none of those debates are close to Winnipeg!

I found a very interesing story he wrote on his website about how God was working in his life as he went through academia and earning two doctorate degrees. If you're interested in reading the story, here's the link:
